Highlight of this year

Today I had to write about what I like about this year. Here's what I wrote.

Homework week 6

Today after school today I started my homework for this week. So for home work this week I have to write 5 word problems, based on Ace from my own school Glen Taylor school values. I also have to read a chapter or more from a book every day. Here's what I've done so far.

Practice speeches

Today my class and I had to write some speeches to present to the whole school. So today in class we presented our speeches to the whole class for practice. My friend Fina and I presented a speech about Who we look up to. We look up to the one and only bestest teacher in the world Mrs Fonua. Here's our speech.

Today for reading I had to read a article about a panda named Bie Bie, the article was about Bie Bie turning 3 years old. After reading the article I had to fill out some things here's some thing I had to do.

What Resilience means to me

Yesterday for reading I had to read an article on kiwi kids about Resilience, after reading the article I had to write what it means to me on a padlet.

Basic fact

Super powers

This morning my class and I had to write what superpower we would have for 24 hours and why for a quick write.

I chose to be able to fly so I can fly away from home, fly away from my annoying cousins and so I can fly to school instead of walking.

E - AKO

This week my class and I got introduced to E-AKO maths. E-ako is a maths game that we play in our class when finished work. Here an image of one of the activity's.

Inference

This week me and my reading group learnt about inference and learnt what inference is. Our teacher shared a doc with us and showed us how to inference, then we got sent another doc and had to do that by our self's. Here's a screenshot of some of the inferences we had to do.

Bus stop

Yesterday for a quick writing worm up we played bus stop here's an image of my bus stop.

How to play:

First someone will give you a letter from the alphabet, the you have to fill in the boxes of things you chose to do until someone says bus stop. So that's how you play.

Once upon a time

A couple of days ago I had to answer some questions for a random picture that was above the questions. Here's mine.
Here's a little bit of my answers to the questions.

If looks like a gigantic sparkly diamond fell from a building or fell from the sky and it looks like, the diamond teared up the place.

The diamond came from the sky.

The diamond has been there for a whole week or two.

The old man from the little house saw if the day if landed, and nobody saw were if came from.

I would keep it and make creative things out of it and give some to the poor people and give some to special people in my life as well as sell some of if.

Last Friday I went to my school disco, it was the best disco I've ever been to. I loved the school disco and wish that it went on for ever!

This morning when the bell went for school, we had to do our reading activities. For my reading activity I had to read a story/book for 15 minutest, I haven't finished reading the whole story, but I'm excited to see whats next.

How to make a umu

1.First you dig a deep hole in the ground

2.Secondly you lay down the woods into the hole

3.Thirdly you burn the old paper when putting it on top of the wood.

4.Then put your food in the trays and foil the top.

5.After foiling the top put the metal trays into the ground

6.Lastly you put the rocks on top of the trays, banana leaves on the rock then the old paper on top of the leaves, lastly old blankets on top of the old paper.
