Today for Reading my group and I had to pick an article to read from KiwiKids news. I chose to read about Dakshayani the worlds oldest Elephant.After reading that article I decided to write about it. Here's what I've done.

GTS pool

Last week Thursday my class and I had to write about how the GTS pool works and what you need for a pool. Me and my friend worked together and here's what we did.

How the GTS swimming pool works

What you need

Water

Chlorine

Filter/sand filter

Net

Pump

Shower/changing rooms

pool - space/ Fame

Vacuum/hose/pipe

Thermometer

Ladder/slope

Rail bars

Concrete space

You need to clean the swimming pool everyday so you don’t get sick from all the germs, you also need to put Chlorine in the water to kill all the germs. You also need to vacuum the pool so all the dirt from the bottom can go away.

You need a ladder to get in the pool safely,you also need rail bars incase the pool is to deep for you.

The people that clean the pool put a Thermometer in the pool to see what temreter the pool is at. You also need a net so you can get all the leafs and bugs out

Practice speeches

Today my class and I had to write some speeches to present to the whole school. So today in class we presented our speeches to the whole class for practice. My friend Fina and I presented a speech about Who we look up to. We look up to the one and only bestest teacher in the world Mrs Fonua. Here's our speech.

Inference

This week me and my reading group learnt about inference and learnt what inference is. Our teacher shared a doc with us and showed us how to inference, then we got sent another doc and had to do that by our self's. Here's a screenshot of some of the inferences we had to do.

How to play:

First someone will give you a letter from the alphabet, the you have to fill in the boxes of things you chose to do until someone says bus stop. So that's how you play.

A couple of days ago I had to answer some questions for a random picture that was above the questions. Here's mine.

For my last week homework I had to write down the meaning of each word my teachers gave me, as well as doing that, I had to write a sentence of my understanding of each word.

Recount writing
