Athletics!

On Tuesday last week we did athletics and had a mufti day.We also could buy some drinks, ice blocks and other yum things.We did running, through the rugby boot, through the soft ball and water activates.I had lost of fun on athletics day. 

Kapa haka powhiri

A few weeks ago our schools kapa haka group and I did a powhiri for the new people that have just started at our school.I really enjoyed it!

What a work out

Today at school we did a lot of finis like push ups, Burgess and other hard things.We got put in to buddy's and my buddy was Bridget.We will be doing these sports ever once or twice a week you should try doing it.

Mufti Halloween

On Tuesday at school it was mufti day but we had to dress up in Halloween custom.I dress up as a zombie that went to zombies university from 1896.

Testing!!

Today we did a math and reading test.If was hard some questions were hard and some were easy.I was nerves and not happy.I think I did well any ways.

Yesterday my class and I Were paired up in 6 groups and 5 groups.When we were in our groups we tried to work out what eighteen times five equals.I twas hard and fun!

Yesterday my class and I did a second layer on our paper mache volcanoes.We spent most of the day doing our paper mache volcanoes, it was some hard work.The thing that I learnt when I was doing my paper mache volcano is that you should ways add a bunch of glue and not matter if it runs out.It was fun!

   Today my class and I did one layer of our paper mache volcanoes that we started.For me the hardest thing about my paper mache volcano is keeping my bottle still on my piece of paper.The easy thing for me with my paper mache volcano is that it was quit easy to put the newspaper around my bottle.

Dufi assembly!

Today at school there was a dufi assembly with Georgia Hale.At the assembly we got given our dufi books and we also asked Georgia hale some questions. It was fun!

My highlight of my weekend!

My high light of my weekend is going to a movie night at school, dancing relaxing, watching Tv, dancing and going to my favourite papa's house.

Today we did measurements about how high we are but before we did that we rote down what we thought the height would be.We were in pears of 2.I guess I would be 1 and a half meters long but I was 141 meters.I had fun!Click the link that says measurement facts for kids to check it out.

counting money!

Today me and my class did counting money and had a competition in group's of 3, and 4.Our groups work as a team to round up the numbers and discuss in group's to get the answer.If you work as a team you might get answer right.

Orienteering

Today we learnt about orienteering and what orienteering means. Orienteering is like cross country but with a map. I learnt that orienteering what the colours meant on the map.

Room 9's Assembly

This morning was my class first assembly at school.Our assembly was about what we our thought's of what Kawa of care and what we think F-I-R-E means.We did 2 song called help me help you and stand by me.Thank!

Buddy class

Today Me and my class went to our buddy class and red a book and did printing about the book.The book was about a invisible bucket that had people's emotions in the bucket.The book is also about kindness and caring about people.I had fun with my buddy class.

My highlight of the holiday

My highlight of the holiday is me going to the pool's, going to Kelly Tarltons, and other cool, fun, awesome places.I had the best holiday ever in my life.

Recount writing

 To me recount writing means retelling a sore that has happens in the past.Recount writing is also has grandma's, punctuation, capitals at the beginning and most important don't put capitals in the middle of a sentence.

My cool aunty

Hi I'm Giselle and I'm here to tell you about my cool aunty. My aunty is like a mum to me when ever I need her or need her help I can always count on her.My aunty may not be one of those people that are rich but she buy's and does what she can for my family that's one of the reason's why she's the best aunty,mum,daughter,sister and niece ever.I think my family has the best person in the world.

A fun thing that I did holiday's

Something I did fun on the first week of the holiday's was going to Kelly tarltons and saw also source of cool sea creature's and saw shells,clams and saw bones of things that aren't even alive right now.I had so much fun at Kelly tarltons. I had so much fun.

How I felt showing my aunty my Chromebook

                                                                           

I felt good showing my aunty my Kawa of care slide deck and what web sites I should be on at home and school.I was felling happy that I showed my aunty and she had understood what I was showing her.I enjoyed her coming to my class/school to show her what I do and what I should be on.That's how I felt.

Ko Giselle Tuku Ingoa and welcome to my blog.

I am an 12 year old student from Glen Taylor School, and currently a year 8.I like to read and I like to be occupied

I have 1 sister called Hunter, 3 brothers named William, Khadaffi, and seaton, and I had 2 brother that can sadly not be with me today. I am half Maori, quarter Cook Island and quarter European (English and Scottish). I am very excited to share some of my learning with you all. I think I’m good at Math's, but sometime it can get a bit to complicated for me. My goal for this term is to have a good report and to get better at, Writing and Math's. I enjoy working hard to achieve in and to be successful in my learning. I like to listen to music when I am doing independent work, or when I'm running .  I'm shy when presenting things. I enjoy playing with my friend and family. I am looking forwards to this year because, it a new year.
